BECAUSE OF YOUR SUPPORT, OUR MISSION CONTINUES!
This year’s event brought us to a stunning venue, Coltsfoot Garden, in the Village of Cornwall. Inspired by their setting, John and Juliet designed a series of formal vegetable and flower gardens framed by their neighbor’s picturesque old barns. Exuberant plantings of old-fashioned peonies, irises and daylilies soften the picture while self-sowing native flowers such as the fragrant pink and white dame’s rocket, burgundy-leaved penstemon, and sapphire blue lobelia further the sense of abundant profusion. Using sugar maple branches, John has fashioned naturalistic arbors and creatively staked the peas, tomatoes, and pepper plants in the vegetable gardens.
